Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective and last updated: 30 August 2026

Two separate payment models: the School Programme displays school fee schedules and offline records. The separate Test Series may accept online payment through the payment provider shown at checkout. The rules below identify which party handles each request.

School fees

Questions, corrections, cancellations and refunds for tuition or other school fees must be submitted to the school that charged the fee. The school's admission documents and refund rules determine eligibility. Exampay may help correct a platform record after receiving verified instructions, but cannot independently approve a school-fee refund.

Exampay service subscriptions

If a school or organisation purchases an Exampay service, its signed order, proposal or service agreement controls the subscription term, cancellation rights and any refund. Unless that agreement says otherwise, a customer should request cancellation in writing before the next billing or renewal date. Amounts for a completed service period are generally not refundable except where required by law or where Exampay agrees that the service was not provided.

Test Series purchases

Before purchasing, review the examination category, included tests, price, validity period, attempt limits and device requirements. A duplicate charge, payment that was captured without access being granted, or programme that materially differs from its published description should be reported promptly. Where permitted by applicable law, a Test Series refund may be declined after a learner has started or submitted a paid test, substantially used the programme, shared or misused access, or allowed the published validity period to expire. A request made before any paid test is started will be reviewed on its facts and applicable consumer law; this policy does not remove any mandatory right.

Cancelling a Test Series account does not automatically reverse a payment. Approved online refunds are initiated through the original payment provider. When the provider confirms a full refund, related access may be revoked and any in-progress paid attempt may become unavailable. The free Diagnostic Test has no purchase price and therefore no payment refund.

How to request a correction, cancellation or refund

Email info@exampay.in with the account or school name, payment date and amount, receipt or reference number, reason for the request and a safe contact method. Do not email passwords, one-time codes or complete payment-card information. We or the relevant school may ask for reasonable verification.

Processing

We will acknowledge an Exampay service request and explain whether it must be handled by the school. Approved refunds are normally initiated to the original permitted payment method within 7–10 business days after approval; banks or payment providers may take additional time. If the original method is unavailable, additional identity and account verification may be required.

Incorrect payment records

A receipt or "paid" status in the platform is an administrative record, not final evidence that funds settled. Report duplicates, incorrect amounts or unauthorised changes promptly. We may preserve audit information while a record is investigated and then correct the visible status on verified instructions.
