For a student who dreams of the cockpit, the path to a Commercial Pilot Licence begins at school. Rather than a single exam, it is a journey — school-level physics and mathematics, a medical clearance, entrance to a flying academy, and the DGCA's own written examinations along the way.
Who can appear
Students who have completed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics, and who meet the medical-fitness standards. Training and licensing are overseen by the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation).
