Data Security
Schools hand us information about minors. We treat that responsibility as central to how we operate, not as a footnote in a legal document.
1. What we collect, and why
We collect only what a partnership and the SIP programme genuinely need to run — enquiry details from the Partner Survey, and programme data (attendance, test results, progress) required to teach, test and mentor each student. Our public forms explicitly ask that no student personal data be included in free-text fields.
2. Who can see it
Student progress data is visible only to that student, their parent/guardian, their teachers and mentors, and the partner school's authorised staff — never made public, and never shared with unrelated third parties.
3. How it's protected
Access to the platform is role-based (student, parent, faculty, school, admin), and we apply standard technical and organisational safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest.
4. Retention
We retain programme data for as long as the partnership and enrolment remain active, and for a reasonable period afterward as required for academic records and legal compliance.
This page will be expanded with our full technical security posture (hosting, encryption standards, incident-response process) as the platform is finalised.
