IPMAT · SET · NPAT
For students who know early that they want a management career, these exams open five-year integrated BBA–MBA programmes and India's leading private universities — straight after Class 12, without waiting for a separate MBA entrance years later.
Who can appear
Students who have passed, or are appearing in, Class 12, usually with a minimum percentage. IPMAT leads to the IIMs' integrated programme (such as IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak); SET and NPAT are the entrances for Symbiosis and NMIMS respectively.

The national picture
Integrated management seats at the IIMs number only a few hundred in total, against tens of thousands of aspirants — so while the field is smaller than NEET or JEE, the competition for a top seat is just as sharp.
